A variety of music stars from Paul McCartney, Elton John and Annie Lennox to Jessie J and Ed Sheeran will sing in celebration on June 4 to mark Queen Elizabeths 60 years on the throne, it was announced Tuesday.
Some 10,000 tickets will be awarded by ballot by lottery. Tickets will also include entry into the palace garden for a picnic.
The concert will be broadcast on television and radio. Viewers in the United States will be able to see highlights the following day on ABC.
The queen and her husband, Prince Philip, plan to attend, along with other members of the royal family.
