4th Beirut Cooking Festival

A date not to miss for food lovers!

A pinch of imagination, a dash of ingenuity and passion has culminated in the Beirut Cooking Festival, the annual food lovers' event. During a period of three days, from November 6-8, BIEL will transform into a vast theater of taste, and will welcome chefs and professionals who have come to share with the larger public, their love and passion for their profession. Held concurrently with the Salon du Chocolat and during the same period as Gourmet Week (3 till 9 November), the three initiatives are brought to you by the organizing committee, Hospitality Services.

In its 4th edition, and building on its growing success, the exhibition highlights a rich program including live shows, animation, workshops, book signings, tasting sessions and "live cooking classes". Meeting the chefs, and learning the latest tips and recipes is also on the agenda. Experts in the art of dining, etiquette, wine and spirits will be able to share their passion with the public. Discover the latest innovations and food novelties. More than 100 stands will be showcasing the latest accessories, utensils, tableware, kitchen equipment and food &beverage ingredients. Moreover, more than a dozen of the stands will be dedicated to a number of associations, corporations and artisans. The chefs are Lebanese in majority and many workshops will revolve around authentic cuisine.

The Beirut Cooking Festival promotes the growth of the cooking industry in Lebanon. "This celebration is an occasion to remind the public of the richness of the Lebanese heritage and its myriad of flavors, expressed through the Lebanese gastronomy," said Joumana Dammous Salame, Managing Director of Hospitality Services.
