Alice Eddé - Lavender

Sunday August 30th,2015 Byblos witnessed a unique and lovey scented event,"Lavender,the scent of the season" at the Alice Edde Concept store.


Lavender plants lined the sidewalk and a podium where Marrie Mouzaya distilled freshly picked lavender and explained to the curious passersby the process and the benefits of lavender essential oil.


Lavender was visible everywhere:lavneder embroidered and hand-painted cushion by Maria Salem,costume jewelry by Elsa O,lavender honey from nearby mountain villages,Alice Edde lavender soaps and room fragrance and delightful lavender wands with colorful ribbons by talented rural women of South Lebanon.


Alice Edde patrons were even treated to a mini hand message with lavender essential oil by Edde Sands Ayurvedic therapists.


And finally,lavender infused refreshments and finer food,prepared by Edde Sands talented chefs were offered to one and all.It was a lively day reaching all the senses: sight,smell and touch.
