On the occasion of its 13th anniversary, BASSMA NGO, devoted to empowering destitute families, gathered its committee members, supportive partners and media representative, for a friendly lunch gathering at Diwan Al Sultan, on October 23rd, to celebrate the first price of excellence that was awarded to BASSMA at the Best Idealistic NGO (BINGO) award, for the Women Empowerment Category.
Sandra Klat Abdelnour, Founding President at Bassma, said in the occasion: "In the past 13 years, BASSMA helped more than 85,000 people with its various programs and activities. It gives me great pleasure to celebrate today a momentous milestone in the journey of BASSMA and I congratulate every member of our committee and every person who collaborated in BASSMA's activities during the past years and became part of our family. I would like to express my gratitude to them for keeping the faith, working hard and forging ahead, despite innumerable difficulties".
Sandra Klat Abdelnour also took the occasion to invite all attendees to save the date and spread the word for BASSMA's upcoming fundraising gala dinner that will take place at Pavillon Royal, Biel, on Wednesday, December 9, 2015.
