Cyprus FAM Trip Day1

Cyprus Tourism Organisation (CTO), in cooperation with AEGEAN organized a Press and Travel Agent trip from March 20thto 22nd, 2016 to Cyprus aiming  at enhancing tourism to Cyprus out of Lebanon. This album covers Day1: Aya Napa and Protaras.

Given  its  close  proximity  to  Cyprus,  Lebanon  is  one  of  Cyprus’s  priority  markets with around 35,000tourists in 2015.  In  addition  to  encouraging  short  break  tourists,  CTO  is  committed  to  boost  weddings and family holidays. Cyprus being a prime destination for European  couplesto tie the knot.  In 2015, AEGEANstarted flying from Beirut toLarnaca and is now operating 3  scheduled  afternoon  flights  per  week  all  year round.  In  2016, AEGEAN  will  connect Cyprus with direct flights to 11 destinations as a result, passengers  now have increased flight frequencies and  connections as well as improved  accessibility  to  Greece’s  islands.AEGEAN’s  2016  timetable  includes  a  network of 145 destinations in 45 countries. The  flights  will  be  performed  with  one  of  the  youngest  fleets  in  Europe,  comprising  61  aircraft,  after AEGEAN´s recent  investment  in  new  additional  Airbus A320ceos.
