Ragheb Alama is a Lebanese singer, composer, television personality, and philanthropist. With his sensuous vocals, Ragheb has risen to the upper echelon of Middle Eastern pop music. The recipient of an Arabian World Gold Lion Award as Best Arabic Singer of 1998, ALAMA continues to bring a modern sensibility to the traditional music of his homeland. Alama has won two Murex d’Or Awards and several other awards during his career. His albums have made him one of the most commercially successful singers in the Arab World.
