The Little Arab Star

La Sagesse Theater hosted the premiere of a new play entitled "The Little Arab Star" written and directed by acclaimed actress, Mrs. Pauline Haddad, in the honorable presence of reputable Lebanese schools representatives, various educational counselors, as well as several Lebanese theatre, TV and film professionals.

Pauline Haddad produced the little Arab Star in collaboration with New Horizon, a company under the stewardship of Mr. George Zughbi.

The Little Arab Star sheds the light on various moral values such as the importance of friendship, the qualities of teamwork, the power of perseverance and determination to pursue dreams and goals in life ... However, the main theme of the play remains the Arabic Language and the challenges that it is facing, especially with the younger generations' reluctant and resentful attitude toward their mother language and attempts to recreate a connection between the kids and the Arabic language by presenting the story in a context that fits the generation's current lifestyle, interests and trends.

The play uses the set and light design as well as original music composition to transport the younger audience to a world where reality meets fantasy and takes them in an imaginary trip to rediscover some of the most important moral values and reconnect with their roots.

The play targets the young audience between 6 and 12 years old and the shows will be exclusively performed to students, educational associations and institutes upon private bookings. It is so important to state that this play highlights moral, educational and social messages such as friendship, team spirit, openness to communicate properly, the intelligence and determination to pursue dreams and goals of life. Thus, it favors the value of a positive spirit that helps achieving a successful and happy life.
