209 Lebanese Wine Unveils Jewels from Lebanon's Wine Industry
In an exclusive wine tour for media and influencers at the heart of Batroun region
Â
"For the Love of Lebanese Wine" was the theme that 209 - the first online platform selling and promoting Lebanese wine - chose for its Sunday, October 1st; a special day spent with a group of media representatives, bloggers and influencers discovering boutique wineries in Batroun region.
Â
The day started with a traditional Lebanese Saj breakfast overlooking a breathtaking view on Nehlah village. It is where Maher Harb is launching his boutique winery "Sept", in his way of bringing back to life the land his father used to cultivate before he passed away. 209's guests were delighted to be among the first tasters of the unique blends of Sept's winery, Syrah, Viognier, Obeidi and Cabernet.
Â
The second stop was at Aurora winery, where making wine began as a hobby for the Geara family, then grew into an exquisite brand passed down from generation to generation. A picturesque picnic was prepared for the guests under the pine trees, where they enjoyed Aurora chilled wine perfectly paired with cheese, cold cuts, nuts and dried fruits.
Â
From the heart of Batroun hills, down to its beautiful coast, the day culminated in a wonderful sunset gathering at the Bistr'eau seafood restaurant, welcomed by the owners ofthe Batroun Mountains' winery, a family owned and operated winerydedicated to crafting wines that reflect the values of the Hark family. Invitees sampled 3 different types of wine, sensing the taste and smell of the mountain cool, the secrets of the hillside, the struggle of the vine, a neighboring olive branch and the faintest hint of sea below.

With this exclusive wine tour, 209 highlighted once again its passion towards Lebanese wine and its mission to promote Lebanese wineries and make the experience of enjoying a great glass of Lebanese wine approachable and accessible to all.
