Ehden Reserve And Bchenneta Hike In Autumn

Dear hikers,

Prepare yourself for an amazing hike in north of Lebanon where we can see colorful trees, cypresses, oak trees, cedars. It is one of the amazing hikes that we will experience especially in the autumn season, so don't miss it.

This trail is part of the LMT section level 5, starts from ehden reserve in zgharta region till we reach bchenneta -karm mohor in donniyeh.
We will hike a 12 kms of this section. It passes through cypresses and oak forests without forgetting the cedars.
The main attractions are scenic overlooks, high altitude plateau, many springs, the Horsh ehden nature reserve and the historic towns of sir donniyeh and ehden.

Our hike will starts from the reserve of altitude 1500 m, known from its unique biodiversity, rich in pine, cedars, cypress, juniper and wild apple trees. Our trail will continue taking footpath trail to reach old hamlet called btellaya. Then, we will continue our trail to reach spring at mgharet l hawa.
From this cave we will continue at the edge of an oak forest. 
Then we will take an agricultural road to karm l mohor-bchenneta, where the bus will be waiting.

Moving time: 4 hrs

Required materials: jacket to keep warm, hiking boots, backpack, hat, 2L of water, raincoat, sunglasses, sunscreen, healthy snacks, hat.

Fees: 40000 LBP (including transportation, guidance, reserve entrance fees, 5 mins warming up, stretching, first aid kit but does not include medical insurance)
