Glory of Easter

"Where art comes to life" is a stage show that is one of the most unique productions ever seen. It is an artistry and theatrical illusion of living pictures as well as a cultural and artistic education to our society. Each night from 22 to 25 March, 2018 at 8pm, Heart for Lebanon, a non-profit Lebanese organization, is pioneering this unique theatrical attraction for the second time in the Middle East, under the direction of Maestro Nabil Melki. 

It is a seventy-five minute show of "living pictures" - incredibly faithful art re-creations of classical works with real people posing to look exactly like their counterparts in the original pieces. A full theater, full professional orchestra, great musical scores, narration, intricate life size sets, sophisticated lighting, expert staff, distinguished Lebanese director and dedicated volunteers guide the audience through the story of each living picture. 


In 2016, this style of production was put together by Heart for Lebanon for the first time in the Middle East. It contained 12 of the world's most famous masterpieces. "Christ at heart's door", "The last supper", "The crucifixion", Michelangelo's Pieta, and much more. Around 3,000 people attended with TV, Radio and newspaper/magazines coverage. This year for its second presentation, it includes three new paintings to total 15 art works, new musical scores and a new script. The production will be held at the "Palais Des Congres" Dbayeh.
