Gades, a major pillar of Spanish and Flamenco dance, helped to popularize the Flamenco art form on the international stage particularly with classics of world literature as Blood Weddings by Frederico Garcia Lorca and Bizet' Carmen choreographed in the flamenco style by Carlos Saura and Maria Pages.
Based on his legendary choreography, his company presents works rooted in the culture and the traditions of the Spanish people.
