Matthieu Chedid

French musician Matthieu Chedid, aka « M », has won a record of 13 Victoires de la Musique Awards. The talented showman comes from a family where music and art is a tradition. 

Son of musician Louis Chedid and grandson of famous poet Andrée Chedid, the multi instrumentalist and outstanding guitarist started to make a name for himself in 1997 when he released his first album « Le Baptême », and presented himself as « M » with his in famous super hero like hair cut. Since then, he has build a strong reputation as a performer, captivating audiences with his energy and magical concerts, but also as a film score composer and songwriter, collaborating with various renowned artists such as Vanessa Paradis and Johnny Hallyday.
