Caving And Rock Climbing In Akoura

Dear hikers,

On the 16th of June we are all going together to a beautiful village in the region of Jbeil.
Akoura is well known for its delicious juicy apples, its dry and cool weather and the remarkable hospitality of its villagers. Views up there are breathtaking. Akoura is a world of its own!
It has old historical churches and a road dated back to the Roman Empire.

Our day will start in roueiss cave, which is considered the second largest cave in Lebanon, it extends around 8 kms and it is an ideal cave for beginners to explore with an expert guide. 
When we enter the cave, our guide will start explaining everything about the cave and how we must act while we r exploring inside the cave. After the introduction and explanation, we will start to explore around 2 hrs of underground cave to see the beautiful natural stalagmites and we should be equipped by spotlights.
The temp inside the cave is 16 degrees, so get a light jacket to keep you warm. Also, there are places where the water might get your feet wet; so get a change of clothes just in case.

All the necessary equipment will be provided: helmet, torches, or spotlights... So it will be a nice experience.

After the 2 hrs caving, we will head directly to mejdel akoura to experience another adventurous event, an event which will higher up ur adrenaline. We will set-up suitable climb for all and it will be picked at suitable level that suits your ability. So if this something you have always wanted to try? Come along to this intro for beginners.
You will be in great hands with our fully qualified instructors with years of experience and knowledge that they will share with you. All the appropriate equipment will be supplied, and u will be coached on how to climb and abseil effectively this 12 meters cliff.

All our guides and instructors are fully trained, qualified, and first aid trained.

Required materials: hiking boots, backpack, dry clothes for changing, hat, extra t-shirt, extra pair of socks, 2l of water, sunglasses, sunscreen, healthy snacks.

Extra information: 

-min age is 12 yrs old.
-put it cameras and mobiles in a safe place while we are climbing 

Fees: 65000 LBP (including transportation, guidance, 5 mins warming up, stretching, first aid kit, entrance fees to Roeuiss grotto, professional and specialist guide during the Caving and rock climbing. 
Rent for needed gears to enter the cave and for the rock climbing and does not include medical insurance and lunch)
