Christmas Village opening at Arnaoon – Batroun

On Sunday the 9^th of December, 2018 at 14:30, and in the presence of Judge Ramzi Nohra, head of North Lebanon governorate, along with a number of prominent figures of the region, the 7^th edition of Arnaoon Christmas Village was solemnly launched.

A lot of guests, organizations, friends and loyal customers also responded to the invitation to this annual event.

The concept was about a dreamy travel in time, back to the real Christmas era, with the city of Bethlehem, sharply reconstructed by a team of professionals in design and architecture, starting with its old houses, souks, merchants and cattle, all the way to the nativity scene where Jesus was born. All characters involved were real actors accurately performing their respective roles to the pleasure of visitors.

The next station was a reproduction of "Mother Nature" dedicated to children, where visitors enjoy a diversity of plants and gardens sided by colorful stands designed for the occasion. Those stands feature a variety of interactive games meant for attraction and entertainment.

Added to that natural scenery, a merry-go-round of live animals moving and preparing for the arrival of the "Queen of snow" with her beautifully designed white dress, reflecting a message of awareness to preserve nature and keep environment clean.

The third station is Santa's home, a magical authentic neighborhood where a real Santa lives and receives guests for presents, photography, cake live baking, and interaction.

Next is the big Christmas tree that is always newer, bigger, brighter and exclusively designed for the event. Children and adults will definitely enjoy watching it sparkle from all over the village, having also the opportunity to visit huts and workshops around it to grab Christmas sweets, enjoy entertainment and reach for the stage where a choir performs chants and gospels live.

The fourth stop stands for a train station where a ride across the Village shows different spots and decorated areas as a whole Christmas neighborhood installed and mounted by highly skilled personnel.

Moreover, and at some point in time, visitors are called to gather in the central place of Bethlehem to watch Christmas Shooting Star across the sky and Santa Claus moving astoundingly down from above to give away presents and sweets, all supported by magnificent fireworks.

Arnaoon Christmas Village opens for visitors starting December 9^th until January 13^th, from 10:00 till 17:00. Activities and entertainments this year are various, modern and even exclusive, worth visiting.
