The International Centre for the Human Sciences (CISH) – UNESCO, Byblos is organizing in partnership with Hanns Seidel Stiftung and in collaboration with Orient Institute Beirut, a round table, training and photography exhibition commemorating the Lebanese civil war entitled: “The Memory of War: We will remember 1975-1990” on 28-29 April 2021.
The photography exhibition will be exposing the work of Maria Chakhtoura, Journalist of L’Orient Le Jour from her book entitled “La guerre des graffiti”.

إحياءً لذكرى الحرب اللبنانية، يقيم المركز الدولي لعلوم الانسان اليونيسكو بيبلوس بالتعاون مع مؤسسة هانس سايدل والمعهد الألماني للأبحاث الشرقية في بيروت مؤتمراً ومعرضاً للتصوير الفوتوغرافي بعنوان " حرب لبنان ١٩٧٥-١٩٩٠ ، ذكرى وعبر".
وسيعقد المؤتمر على امتداد يومين في المركز عند مدخل المدينة القديمة، كما سيسلّط المعرض الفوتوغرافي الضوء على الاعمال الفنية للصحافية المخضرمة ماريا شختورة من كتابها "حرب الشعارات".
