"Shake It Up, Shake It Down" is a tribute by the BEIRUT GROOVE COLLECTIVE for the music of Rickey Calloway or "Unknown Funk Hero" as dubbed by Wax Poetics. The BGC represented Beirut's funk scene in London's Hoxton Gallery and now they're back to celebrate the new release and re-issues of one forgotten funk hero, the king of funk Rickey Calloway.
