Beirut Holidays Press Conference
Beirut Holidays Festival and the Joy of Summer with the Brightest Stars!
Since its first edition, the Beirut Holidays Festival has held a special place on Lebanon’s tourism map and in the hearts of the Lebanese people. It has become an annual tradition of joy and celebration of life — the voice of the capital and its people, bringing happiness to Lebanon, its citizens, and its visitors.
For the tenth year, the Beirut Holidays Festival returns to its audience, once again from the Beirut Waterfront, with a series of concerts announced during a special press conference held at the Voco Hotel – Beirut, under the patronage of the Ministry of Tourism and the Ministry of Culture.
After a welcome speech by Dr. Jamal Fayyad, Her Excellency the Minister of Tourism, Mrs. Laure El Khazen Lahoud, affirmed the ministry’s support for all Lebanese festivals — especially “Beirut Holidays”. She spoke about the important role this annual event plays in revitalizing tourism and congratulated the private companies organizing the festival. She also directly invited all tourists to visit Lebanon this summer, which is expected to be vibrant and active.
The three organizing companies — 2U2C, Star System, and GAT — were represented by Mr. Jihad El Murr, Mr. Amin Abiyaghi, and Mr. George Issa. They unanimously emphasized the festival’s noble message and its role in generating a special cultural and entertainment movement in the heart of the capital, which has long been a stage for the most renowned international and Arab stars, and the birthplace of some of the world’s most notable music festivals.
During the press conference, the 2025 Beirut Holidays Festival program was announced, starting on the evening of July 8 as opening of the festival with Majida El Roumi, performing for the first time at the Beirut Waterfront under the theme “Beirut Set El Donia” (Beirut, the Greatest).
On July 10, rock music fans will be treated to a performance by the legendary God Save The Queen band in a show titled “Beirut Will Rock You!”
On July 15, after first performing at Beirut Holidays in 2013, the band Adonis returns for a modern, youthful night inspired by their latest album “Wadiyan”.
“Ya Leil Beirut” (Oh Night of Beirut) is the theme of the night on July 17, with a performance by El Shami, who meets his audience for the second year in a row in the heart of the capital.
On July 22, Joseph Attieh returns to the Beirut Holidays stage for the second consecutive year with a concert titled “Beirut Ya Kell El Deni” (Beirut, You Are Everything), after a standout performance last year.
On July 24, in his first appearance at Beirut Holidays, Adam will perform under the theme “Khalas El Dama’ Ya Beirut” (Beirut, The Tears Have Run Dry), promising a special night with his fans.
Beloved pianist Guy Manoukian reunites once again with the festival audience on July 25, in a concert titled “Beirut Forever.”
As is tradition, the Queen of Emotions, Elissa, will close the festival on July 28 with a romantic night of love under the theme “Hobak Metl Beirut” (Your Love Is Like Beirut).
The Beirut Holidays Festival is distinguished by its rich program and its use of cutting-edge sound and lighting technology at its concerts held on the Beirut Waterfront.
