L’Oréal Liban proudly marked its 25th anniversary, celebrating a quarter-century of innovation, empowerment, and purpose in Lebanon. Since its founding, the subsidiary has pioneered beauty innovation, nurtured local talent, and contributed to societal progress, guided by its sense of purpose to “Create the Beauty That Moves the World.”
Honoring 25 Years of Beauty and Legacy
The milestone was celebrated with a gala at the prestigious Résidence des Pins, attended by more than 400 distinguished guests, including government officials, members of parliament, media leaders, partners, and employees.
The evening was graced by His Excellency Mr. Hervé Magro, French Ambassador to Lebanon, who underlined L’Oréal’s dual role as innovator and social actor: "Marking a quarter-century of presence in Lebanon, L'Oréal celebrates not only its 25th anniversary, but also the strengthening of a unique bond between our two nations. As a pioneer in Beauty Tech, this French company combines innovation with responsibility, contributing to economic prosperity and social development through the empowerment of women and youth. We salute their commitment to a sustainable legacy, which strengthens our confidence in the resilience and promising future of Lebanon."
Innovation at the Forefront of Beauty
Guests experienced firsthand how L’Oréal’s sense of purpose drives both technological innovation and societal change. Highlights included Modiface’s virtual try-on, Lancôme’s Hapta for people with limited mobility, L’Oréal Paris Colorsonic for at-home hair coloring, the L’Oréal Professionnel AirLight Pro hairdryer for healthier hair, and the Biotherm Bioscan device for personalized skin diagnostics.
They also discovered L’Oréal Liban’s broad range of CSR programs supporting women, youth, and community development.

Empowering Communities and Inspiring Change
For 25 years, L’Oréal Liban has combined industry leadership with community engagement. Through the L’Oréal-UNESCO For Women in Science program, it has supported 95 women scientists from the Levant. Partnerships with ABAAD and the Farah Social Foundation have promoted dignity and economic independence for thousands of women and girls, while Beauty for a Better Life has created over 1,000 new career opportunities.
The company also invests in Lebanon’s youth throughBrandstorm and L’Oréal for Youth, equipping thousands with skills for success. Employees contribute thousands of volunteer hours annually via Citizen Day.
This spirit of impact extends across its brands: L’Oréal Pariscelebrates inspiring Lebanese women through Women of Worth and has trained more than 15,000 people in the Stand Up program against street harassment, while Garnier’s Green Beauty initiative mobilizes communities against plastic pollution.
