A packed dinner at Thanna Restaurant in support of candidate Elie Bazerli for the position of President of the Beirut Bar Association
As part of the Beirut Bar Association’s electoral movement, Thanna Restaurant hosted a gathering in support of Elie Bazerli, candidate for President and current member of the Bar Council, upon the invitation and organization of Attorney Michelle Abou Nasr and Attorney Michael Meouchy.
The distinguished dinner was attended by a large number of fellow lawyers who reaffirmed their backing and solidarity in an atmosphere of warmth and collegial spirit.
The event served as an important occasion to exchange views on the upcoming elections, during which attendees emphasized the need to unite the Bar’s efforts to elevate the legal profession, strengthen its role in upholding justice, and promote the rule of law.
In a refined yet friendly ambiance, Attorney Michelle Abou Nasr delivered a brief welcoming speech, highlighting the values of fellowship and solidarity, calling for the interests of the Bar and its members to be placed above all else, and stressing the importance of fair and constructive competition, free from division.
For his part, Candidate Elie Bazerli expressed his deep gratitude to Attorney Abou Nasr for her gracious initiative and to all colleagues for their presence and support, affirming his commitment to working for greater professional unity and to continuing the mission of strengthening the Bar’s leading role and prestige within society.
The evening concluded with friendly and purposeful discussions about the future of the Bar and the aspirations of its members, where participants reaffirmed their attachment to the ethical and professional values that have long distinguished the Beirut Bar Association.
