Kalim Bechara Art Gallery invites you to the opening reception of Holiday Inn Beirut, Mira El-Khalil's newest exhibition, on Thursday, December 18, 2025, at 6:00 PM.
El-Khalil transforms one of Beirut’s most charged architectural landmarks, an icon of the Lebanese Civil War, into a living, breathing companion. Once the central figure of her early paintings, the Holiday Inn now drifts in and out of view, shifting through scenes of friendship, introspection, and memory. Beirut’s scarred architecture becomes an emotional language, recolored, reimagined, and vividly alive.
The show will remain on view until January 03, 2026, at Kalim Bechara Art Gallery, Downtown.
