Kalim Bechara Art Gallery is delighted to invite you to Habitus, the first solo exhibition by Tayf Al-Masri, opening on Thursday, January 22, 2026, at 6:00 PM.
Born in Baalbek, Tayf Al-Masri is a multidisciplinary visual artist whose practice is deeply rooted in the urban landscape, its textures, memories, and layered histories. Working with collage, printmaking, and wood-based installations, his work draws from both personal experience and collective heritage to explore themes of place, fragmentation, and identity.
In Habitus, ruins are not silent. Graffiti becomes a language, and the tension between past and present reflects our complex and fragile relationship with the land. The exhibition invites viewers into spaces where memory, neglect, and belonging intersect.
The show will remain on view until February 07, 2026, at Kalim Bechara Art Gallery, Downtown.
