For Spring/Summer 2026 couture, Elie Saab looks to the golden haze of 1970s jet-set summers, channeling the bohemian romance of Marrakech through a lens of unapologetic glamour. The collection is drenched in gold – bejewelled gowns, cascading crystals, metallic mesh, and luminous embroidery – yet never feels weighed down. Instead, it speaks to a woman who values freedom and comfort as much as opulence. Tassels sway, chiffon shifts in ombré hues and embroidery is treated like jewellery. Many of the looks are designed to be mixed and matched: dresses layered with gilets or sequin tops and matching trousers, creating a wardrobe that feels as effortless as it is cinematic. Even the bridal moment subverts tradition, with a soft beige rosé gown interwoven with lace and stones, ethereal rather than overtly ornate.
