Governors Awards 2013

Hollywood has been honouring four of its brightest lights at the Governors Awards, an annual ceremony that held on 16th of November 2013 .Actress Angelina Jolie was handed the Jean Hersholt Humantarian Award for her humanitarian work. Jolie joined the UNHCR in 2001 and the refugee agency remains a high priority for the actress, despite a busy career and a large family.The Governors Awards presentation is an annual award ceremony hosted by the American Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS), at the Grand Ballroom of the Hollywood and Highland Center.[1] Three awards, the Academy Honorary Award, the Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award, and the Irving G. Thalberg Memorial Award are presented at this ceremony.
