Wine, arak, gastronomy, music, art of festivities... Massaya embodies the eternal Lebanese homeland with voluptuousness and sophistication. Overwhelmed with emotions as well as a warm atmosphere, Massaya opened its doors in Faqra on Saturday, July 5th 2014. The event was executed by ICE Events International. The very first guests were amazed by the magical character of the venue, as well the strong engagement and originality of what was offered to them.
The result of five years of labor and passion, this new venue - entirely inspired from the brothers Ghosn's imagination- has it all. Located in the mists of vines and dedicated to the art of wine making and living, Massaya Faqra offers unique experiences. Therein, every element feeds the body and the soul.
Swinging to the melodies of Ray Charles and Edith Piaf, among others, and dancing to the sounds of Disco Divas, aateba and wataniyat, guests discovered the areas under all its forms, namely the vineyards dedicated to white wine, the red wine aging cellars in the heart of stones (the aging process being privileged by altitude), the boutique that displays a wide selection of Massaya vintage bottles, the tasting room, the fireplace restaurant, the open air restaurant, shaped as a Roman amphitheatre with a plunging view on the Faqra temple and built around a pond, that offers an exceptional barbecue, a vast wedding venue, and many more for 750 guests. Here, visitors of all ages navigate from one discovery to another.
Evidently, wine lovers, whether novice or experienced, were fulfilled, and so were the rest. Massaya Faqra is undoubtedly the next go-to destination for Summer 2014, and for the many more years to come.
