Ishrak Kamar was the first contestant to leave the academy, Ismail was chosen by the Arab's votes while Mohamad Houssein was elected by his fellow contestants to remain in the academy. As they performed prior to voting, the judges had the opportunity to comment on their performance trying to push them further. We all hope that the contestants take those comments into consideration, as the academy is meant to teach and not just criticize. It was a short stay for Ishrak; one week after the season had kicked off, she was voted out. This proves no mercy at the academy, not only should you be focused, but also build a strong motivation and dedication all through the season.
The guest of the prime yesterday was the diva, Shirine. She has performed with the contestants who proved to be up to the standards. Lea and Doaa has performed Shakira and Beyonce's "Beautiful Liar" which was the English performance of the night. As they stopped to mention the top 5 list for this week, Lea Makhoul, from Lebanon, had topped the list as she has proven dedication from the very first beginning. She expressed her gratitude and thanked the judges for acknowledging her efforts. As usual, there was a surprise; she will be packing her bags, travelling to Greece, to attend Lady Gaga's concert this week.
It's only the beginning, many things might happen, those who are in the top 5 might end up leaving, and those at the end, might improve so much to win the trophy. Many surprises await along with many disappointments, but the task is one, the harder you work the closer you get...
