Created by four Lebanese friends – Patrick Saber, Anthony Attieh, Edmond Rizk, and Ryan Chedrawi – Panic Zones: Arctic Edition delivers the perfect mix of strategy, laughter, and unexpected twists, with one ultimate goal: escape the Arctic or outlast all other players as chaos erupts. The game is now available online in Lebanon and the UAE, bringing high-stakes fun straight to living rooms, gatherings, and late-night showdowns this season.
“Launching in Lebanon and the UAE reflects both our roots and our journey forward,” the founders explain. “Lebanon is home, where our friendship took shape. Countdown to chaos - how Panic Zones: Arctic Edition was born
The story began in 2022 with three roommates - Patrick, Anthony, and Edmond - and one goal: to create a game that makes hearts race. Inspired by a survival movie set in the Arctic, Patrick, a lifelong gamer, imagined capturing that tension in a card game. Soon, their kitchen turned into a creative studio, where late-night sketching and testing transformed a simple idea into a game designed for thrilling fun. Not long after, Ryan, the strategist, joined the team.
Over two years of playtests, revisions, and countless game nights, Panic Zones: Arctic Edition evolved from a passion project into an immersive experience - shaped by every laugh, lesson, and small victory along the way.
Who it’s for and what to expect
Panic Zones: Arctic Edition is perfect for game nights with family and friends, casual players looking for laughter and suspense, and competitive players who enjoy strategy as much as unpredictability. Designed for ages 10+ and for 3-6 players, each game lasts around 15 minutes - just enough for “one last round” to turn into several more.
Players are stranded in the Arctic and must either collect three Rescue Cards to escape or outlast all other players as chaos unfolds. Each turn brings new decisions: play or purchase Advantage Cards, then draw from the Discovery Deck filled with surprises - helpful Resources, brutal Obstacles, or game-changing Panic events. Quick turns and instant-play cards keep the pressure high, while bold moves can instantly shift the outcome. No two games are ever the same.
