Atletico ranks in 4th place in the European International Elite Neon Cup
 
In a groundbreaking achievement, the Lebanese youth football team, Atletico, affiliated with the Atletico Football Academy, has advanced to the semi-finals of the prestigious "Elite Neon Cup" European Championship held in Greece. This marks the first time in the history of Lebanese football that a team has reached such a significant stage in this international competition.
 
The tournament, which caters to the age group of youth born in 2014, boasts participation from 48 elite European teams competing in one of the most esteemed European championships for this age category. Atletico's young talents, are proudly representing Lebanon on the global stage with the hopes of seeing the Lebanese flag soar in the final golden square.
 
Having played six matches in the tournament, Atletico has showcased exceptional skill and determination, remaining undefeated thus far. The team's unprecedented journey has brought them to the semi-finals, where they faced both teams AC Milan and Paris Saint German, where one of the games ended with a tie and penalty kicks, and the teams ranked 4/48 in the tournament.
 
This accomplishment holds special significance in Lebanon, a country grappling with economic crises and facing challenges in sports support, including issues related to equipment, funding, and overall infrastructure. Atletico's success is a testament to the resilience and talent of Lebanese youth in the face of adversity.
