21 august 2012Flåmdalen, one of the most popular tourist resorts in the country, is a narrow valley stretching from the Hardangervidda in the south, to the Aurlandsdalen Valley – a branch of the Sognefjorden - in the north. Flåm is an excellent starting point for excursions by car or boat to other well known resorts in the Sognefjorden. Cycling along the navvies’ road, hiking in the valley, trout fishing in the river, a train journey on the Flåmbana railway and various boat trips are just some of the activities that are available to visitors in Flåm. -
