Foodini Machine Promises to 3-D Print food

    04 april 2014
It's called Foodini, and it promises to be the first 3D food printer kitchen appliance. The gadget makes it possible to print all types of real, fresh food, with users simply needing to add empty food capsules to create a delicious meal. It's not quite like the replicator on Star Trek, as it does require you to prepare food for the capsules, before putting the food in and loading up Foodini.

Essentially, rather than creating anything from thin air, Foodini is about streamlining and simplifying cookery, making fiddly tasks much easier by doing it all by itself.

It's a pretty exciting concept and it's currently available to purchase via a Kickstarter campaign. The campaign itself has until April 25 to run and is already faring quite well. For $999, you can pick up a Foodini machine with $2,000 snagging one before they even reach mass production.
