After all we are looking at one of Mercedes' most popular models, one that has been around since 1997. Starting next year, the fourth generation will be released and the SLK-Class will be renamed to Mercedes-Benz SLC-Class.
Now, since a Mercedes-Benz SLK appeared in Psy's most popular music video, Gangnam Style, we're wondering if the artists was inspired by that particular car or it was a random choice. Day Yun, an artist from Xi'an in north-west China is the man behind this not-so-soft-top two-seater.
The sculptured Mercedes-Benz is planted in the Red Town Creative Park in Shanghai and is completely made out of bricks. According to Yahoo News, the artist used red brick, cement, steel and other materials and built to the original proportion of a real Mercedes-Benz. It appears the elaborate artwork also includes interior chairs, a steering wheel and gears.
