A variety of sweet treats are served during Easter across the world.
1- Spain: Rosquillas
Rosquillas are baked or fried doughnuts made from fermented flour, Some are dusted with sugar, others flavoured with rosemary, and some even soaked in anise liqueur.
2- Russia: Pashka
A pyramid-shaped dessert made out of cheese. The dish is often decorated with religious symbols.
3- Greece: Tsoureki
A brioche-like bread that is flavoured with an essence drawn from the seeds of wild cherries. It is often decorated with hard-boiled eggs.
4- US: Hot Cross Buns
The most well-known Easter dish across the world and comes in the form of a sweet spiced bun filled with currants or raisins, and marked with a cross
