McDonald's Lebanon has completely refreshed their Tyr location, modernizing the customer experience and bringing the décor up to date. Different members of the surrounding municipalities, VIPs and media as well as many existing loyal customers attended the re-opening event.

McDonald's Tyr first opened in July 2007 as a full service restaurant that included a Drive-Thru, the McDelivery Service, a McCafé, a Play Place, Party Room and spacious lobby seating.

In the recent refurbishment all areas of opportunity were addressed, from the back of house and kitchen through to the furniture, restrooms, terrace and façade.  The fun and magical aura of McDonald's remains intact while the enhancements give the restaurant the timely boost its guests will enjoy.

Mr. Karim Miknas, the Managing Partner of McDonald's stated: "Today we reaffirm our commitment to Tyr and to our business in the South of Lebanon.  We are honored to have the whole community with us, joining in celebration of the re-opening of our home in Tyr.  The end result you see today is testament to of teamwork second to none and a cornerstone of our success. On the day of the reopening the restaurant was transformed into a home-away-from-home with many decorative elements added to make the attendees feel as though they were coming to a house warming party at McDonald's home.  Guests were served on porcelain plates in an ambiance filled with a funky vintage fridge, framed photographs, homey cushions, centerpieces and plants for that added warmth.

The façade now has a new, sleek look in line with McDonald's global standard.  Seating is available both indoors and out, with a beautiful terrace for the sunny days to come. The toilets were fully renovated and of course the children's areas feature many improvements the little ones are sure to enjoy, including a fully equipped party room.  Nothing has been left to chance with even the exterior paving completely redone.  In fact the entire complex has been brought up to date for an overall improved experience.
