El Rass & Munma Pick it!
El Rass’s masterful flow switches naturally from classical Arabiclanguage, to the spoken Lebanese dialect, tackling a wide range of
sensitive subjects and realms, from revolution to religion, from
Sufism to social agitation. Munma, on the other hand, alternates
between broken beats, elaborate percussion, and ambient layers of
synths. And he thus creates a genre-transcending dimension of sound
that perfectly suits, with its constant metamorphosis in sincerity,
the directions of his collaborator.
El Rass & Munma will, once again held a concert at Metro El Madina, performed new
tracks of theirs, in addition to pieces from “Kachf el Mahjoub”, and a
freestyle improvisation session that left many in shock.
