The dance video, which serves as the follow up to the South Korean singer's global hit "Gangnam Style," was only posted on YouTube at 9:00 pm (1200 GMT) on Saturday and already counts more than 50 million views on YouTube by Monday. Thus, it re-writes the video-sharing site's records for single-day hits.
In the first 24 hours, it received around 20 million hits, surpassing the previous record for single-day views of 8.0 million, set by Justin Bieber's "Boyfriend" video. The video captures PSY wearing his signature sunglasses, dancing at various locations in and around Seoul including a high-end clothing store, restaurant, library and a swimming pool.
