The founders of the Arab American National Museum (AANM) Committee organized a very special night and invited many figures for an enchanting evening at MGM Grand Detroit. The Museum Gala is the signature annual celebration of AANM's singular role as the first and only museum to tell the Arab American story. This special night was hosted by the rising pop stars Mia Haddad and the recognized pianist and producer Walid al Massih. This exclusive event, which historically funds 30% of AANM's education programming, salutes the vibrant Arab American community with a fete of unparalleled elegance, featuring excellence in dining and entertainment.
The Arab American National Museum (AANM) is the first and only museum in the United States devoted to Arab American history and culture. Arab Americans have enriched the economic, political and cultural landscape of American life. By bringing the voices and faces of Arab Americans to mainstream audiences, they continue their commitment to dispel misconceptions about Arab Americans and other minorities. Since opening in 2005, the Museum has shed light on the shared experiences of immigrants and ethnic groups, paying tribute to the diversity of our nation.
Mia Haddad received an appreciation letter along with the producer Walid Al Massih from the "Middle Eastern Community" for the state of Michigan for their performances and contributions. The letter highlighted on Mia Haddad's presence who secured a merely sold out benefit for the Museum's annual operating fund.
Another letter from "Arab American National Museum" was sent to them and highlighted on the expert production skills who enhanced the overall presentation and made the attendees feel like top-level VIPs.
