Google is celebrating International Women's Day with an interactive slideshow of inspirational quotes by women, designed by women.
"We showcase inspirational quotes across various languages by thirteen international female trailblazers – both past and present," it says, adding that the quotes were visualised by a global group of female artists.
"The process of choosing the thirteen quotes was extremely difficult, but we aimed to include a diverse representation of voices on a day which celebrates the past, present, and future community of diverse women around the world," says Google, in its Doodle Archive.
The 13 quotes have an embedded share button, while the closing slide includes a replay and search function for those interested in learning more about IWD.
The designers included a mix of 10 individuals and studios like Dubai-based women-owned design studio Abjad Design, Indian paper typographer Sabeena Karnik, Japanese graphic designer Hazuki Tamano, plus American illustrator Melissa Crowton who created the multilingual opening and closing images of the Doodle.
The Google Doodle is uniformly available in most regions that can access the search service.
