On Saturday, September 21, 2019, approximately 50 volunteers from various departments at Le Royal Hotel Beirut teamed up for a beach clean-up action lead by Hotel Manager, Mr. Cyril Mouawad.
As part of its ongoing initiatives to protect the environment and to contribute to its community, Le Royal organized the clean-up in collaboration with Operation Big Blue Association. The action was held at Dbayeh beach, adjacent to the harbor area. Participants in the clean-up noted that at least 150 large garbage bags were collected and picked up by Ramco.
In a statement, Mr. Mouawad highlighted the importance of promoting environmental culture in the community, combating all forms of pollution, and providing clean beaches to citizens and tourists. He also thanked Le Royal team members, Operation Big Blue Association and Ramco for the success of the initiative.
