Under the patronage of His Excellency Tom Fletcher, the United Kingdom Ambassador in Lebanon, BCD Hermes Lions Club & Meadows is organizing a unique art display revolving around the UK's national flag. The showcase of the Union Jack-inspired artworks was open to public on Saturday May 18th, 2013 at Awram Souks in the Beirut Central District. This show will go on until Sunday the 2nd of June 2013.
The art works on display at the BCD were produced by the International Olympian Artists who used the British Union Jack as part of their creative pieces that is expected attracted a big crowd of enthusiasts and art lovers.
Mr. Mohammad Halawani representing the BCD Hermes Lions Club, stated on this occasion: "This showcase is an exclusive artistic event held here in Beirut's Central District with unique pieces. It shows the works of international artists and promotes cultural ouverture and exchange between Lebanon and the United Kingdom."
