Real Madrid want to make Cristiano Ronaldo the "best-paid player in the world" as they look to build the club's future around him. 
Ronaldo has a contract until 2015 and is believed to earn around £8million a year after tax but Manchester United and PSG have been linked with signing him.
Perez said: "Cristiano told me in the summer he was sad and I told him we would do everything possible for him to be content.
"I don't know if he has an offer from PSG. I think Cristiano is the best player in the world."
