Gigi Hadid's dad had fans in a frenzy after he appeared to announce she had welcomed her first child with partner Zayn Malik.
The 25-year-old model's father Mohamed Hadid initially seemed to reveal the news when he posted a tender poem for his grandchild on Instagram Wednesday.
But he later clarified that the family was still waiting when asked if Gigi had given birth in the comment section.
The heartfelt note was enough to get people talking though.
'Hello my little grandchild. I wish for you the sun and the moon,' he shared in the sweet note, which was titled: 'Grandpa's heart.'
'Hello little grandchild, it's me, my heart as happy as can be. I wish for you the sun and moon. I wish for you a happy time.'
