It is on the panoramic stairs of Zaitunay Bay that has been presented the collection "Capdell" designer's furniture collection. The event organized by "CHAIRS Gallery", under the patronage of the Spanish Embassy in Lebanon, allowed the public to try the Designers products 'made in Spain'.
Mr. Georges Chalhoub, founder and owner of CHAIRS Gallery, evokes his willingness to make the furniture design, medium to high-end, more accessible: "it is one of the reasons why we have chosen to organize the event outdoors in a public space. Our wish was to let people try well-designed and high-end furniture that meets both ergonomic and economic requirements without neglecting the aesthetic side, it is also for this reason that the ICFF chose this year the collection "Capdell Concord" collection as being the "best seating design of the year ".
For his part, Mr. Gauthier De Nutte, partner and export Manager of "Capdell", shares the same vision as Mr. Chalhoub: «Capdell offers a range of medium and high range products entirely manufactured in our workshops in Spain."Present in more than 50 countries worldwide, the company specialized in the field of chairs hopes to introduce the philosophy of Spanish design in Lebanon and the Region through CHAIRS Gallery which is our main distributor".
Her Excellency Madam Milagros Hernando, Ambassadress of Spain in Lebanon, underscores the importance of this event: "the political relationships between Lebanon and Spain are perfect. However, regarding the commercial and economic perspective there is much to do. Trades between Spanish and Lebanese firms are strongly encouraged by the Embassy of Spain. In addition, Spanish design is very interesting and very well thought-out as you can see, and there are enough Lebanese architects and designers who can appreciate it in all its forms.
The event, launched on Thursday, June 6 at 8:30 was followed by a reception.
