Lebanon Sunday recorded 16 further deaths from coronavirus complications and 3,743 new coronavirus cases as authorities mulled imposing a total shutdown to stem the surge as early as Monday.
A total of a 23,931 PCR tests have been administered in the last 24 hours. The positivity rate of the tests in the last two weeks stood at 15.8 percent.
