Sailing through the magical and historical French world, Fashion designer Robert Abi Nader created his latest collection for Fall-Winter 2013-2014. His latest designs were presented on the deck of a Parisian "Bateau Mouche" that rested on the beautiful Seine River. The setting added to the magic of the event since it was surrounded by the picturesque Parisian landscape.
Robert Abi Nader's runway was unique and stood out from the traditional runways which complemented the distinctiveness of the designs. The collection includes new and innovative cuts and features dresses that are composed of several pieces that were sewn together to create the most flattering garments for women.
Some creations reflect the designer's ability to infuse his collection with scattered geographic elements. The collection includes wide sleeves inspired by the traditional Japanese Kimono dress as well as classic fifties French-school trousers embroidered with silk thread.
Luxurious fabrics such as lace, brocade, and guipure were widely used in his creations. However the highlight of the collection was the creative use of black and brown leather in various interesting ways since it was occasionally mixed with Lace in an artistic manner. This marriage gave birth to exquisite works of art.
The various lengths of the dresses gave every single design its personal touch. And the embroidered patterns in silk threads reflected the illusion of tattoos on the skin. The ultimate magical feature of the collection was the luminous diamond embellishments in addition to sequins spread all over the glamorous designs. The designer occasionally cinched-in the dresses at the waist with belts adorned with Robert Abi Nader's logo.
A beautiful mix of magic, art and history contributed to bringing forth this unique collection that enhances the modern women's charm while staying true to their culture and history.
