This week on OLT20 we want to give a big thumbs up to Lebanese singer Layal Abboud for scoring her 3rd Lebanese Number 1 on OLT20 with her latest single "Asmar". After starting her career by participating in the 2001-2002 edition of ‘Studio Al Fan”, Layal Abboud has already captured a huge audience in Lebanon and the Arab world, and she has previously Topped the Lebanese Chart on 2 different occasions : with “Khaliha Bi Albi Tijrah” back in 2014 & “Dinyet Ajayeb” in 2016. “Asmar” was composed by Joseph Jeha, Arranged by Elie Aliya, and the Lyrics are signed Dr. Michel Jeha. On this 25th Chart of the year we have 3 New Entries. The highest one comes in straight to Number 10 from Lebanese singer Joseph Attieh alongside DJ Rodge with their joint single “Helween” a song which has taken Lebanon by storm since day 1 of its release, followed by Lebanese singer Myriam Atallah who scores a New Entry at Number 12 with “Keef Jani”, and by British singer Anne-Marie & Irish singer Niall Horan at Number 15 with “Our Song”.
Also note that our Jump of the week (#13 to #6 = +7 places) comes from American rapper and singer Lil Nas X. with “Montero (Call Me By Your Name)” a former Number 1 and which now shoots back up to Number6 in Lebanon !
