The leaks across the iPhone 1
3 continue after the company released its next generation iPhone 13 on Tuesday the 14th, allowing users to take better wide-angle and enlarged photos.Screenshots of the counterfeit units of the phones were posted on Chinese social networking site Weibo. One of the models had a diagonal lens. The previous models were arranged vertically.
Apple has also reportedly been able to reduce the size of the TrueDepth camera system used in FaceID, in addition to moving the earpiece to the top of the phone, according to the Arab tech news portal.
Other claims about the upcoming iPhone, expected in the fall, include a slightly larger rear camera, 2.5x telephoto zoom, and an upgrade to the ultra-wide-angle lens.
According to reports, the iPhone 13’s camera has an aperture of f1.8, which is lower than the f2.4 of the iPhone 12.
Dynamic images and better depth
A lower aperture means more light gets in, resulting in dynamic images and better depth of field, and it’s also useful for shooting in low light such as at night.
Plus, the improvements could include all four rumored models, namely the iPhone 13, iPhone 13 mini, iPhone 13 Pro, and iPhone 13 Pro Max.
The lenses also have autofocus and optical image stabilization (OIS), which counteract blurring. It is uncertain whether the same technology will reach the front camera or not.
And the OIS function appeared with the telephoto lens of the iPhone 12 Pro Max. But the iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max have the OIS function in the wide-angle and ultra-wide-angle lenses.
