Twitter Introduces Apple ID and Google Account Sign-In
Twitter has thrown caution into the wind, and is now allowing Tweeps to sign in using their Apple ID or Google account login details. So, if you want to remember one less password (ahem, why aren't you using a password manager?) then you can access the popular social media platform using these alternative methods.
In a tweet (shown above) posted on August 2nd, @TwitterSupport announced the extra feature. Stating that it will now allow Twitter users to "sign on with ease and start scrolling [their] timeline," the post states that those logging in or signing up to the service can use a Google Account on the app and via a web browser, and an Apple ID on iOS, with browser access to follow.
