On Christmas Eve, award-winning French-Lebanese singer Tania Kassis performed with her orchestra at Expo 2020 Dubai in a concert initiated by the Vatican’s Holy See represented by Msgr Tomasz Trafny and Expo 2020 to aspire forgiveness, fraternity, and tolerance, with a special participation of the London Community Gospel Choir and the Festival Choir.
Tania Kassis shined with a thousand lights promoting World Peace and the blessings of Christmas through her powerful songs such as her famous “Ave Maria” mixed with the Soufi Islamic prayer “Mawlay” as an important message of tolerance from the heart of Dubai, an exclusive adaptation of her latest release “Mi Senti” to which lyrics related to this occasion were added, and her universal song “Land For All / Al Ardou Lil Jami3” produced with the United Nations in English and Arabic.
“We are all together in this place that has become a hub for gathering from all over the world. From here, and with the diversity of this celebration that we are living in Expo 2020 Dubai, we will send a message of humanity of all colors” mentioned Tania Kassis in her introduction word.
Her performance also included a selection of famous Christmas songs as well as “Buon Natale A Tutti Quanti”, sending her wishes in Italian, Spanish, French, Arabic and English to the audience of different nationalities.
The Jubilee platform at the site of the international event also included a live broadcast of the Christmas Mass from Bethlehem, adding more unique atmosphere to the international event site.
This concert was a success due to the big support of Omar Shehadeh, Chief International Participants Officer at Expo 2020 Dubai, Cynthia Sarkis Perros and her team Luxury Limited Edition, PR management for Tania Kassis and Karim Massoud event coordinator for this evening.
