A unique opportunity for networking and investment for Arab and Lebanese Women

Ana Lubnaniya Arabiya Conference will kick off at the Lebanon Pavilion at Expo Dubai on
January 27, 2022, welcoming local and Arab businesspeople, economic figures, leaders, and
entrepreneurs. The one-day event is organized by the Women Leaders Association of Lebanon
(WLA) and powered by Jazzmin.
The conference will be launched in parallel to an exhibition of locally made and authentic
products showcasing the capabilities of Lebanese businesswomen.
The three main goals behind Ana Lubnaniya Arabiya are to: Promote multilateral investment and
trade, spread a culture of peace and stability, and enhance women’s participation in the economy
in the Arab world. It is also a chance for participants to network and interact with like-minded
people and market leaders.
The opening session will see keynote speeches from WLA President Madiha Raslan,
Chairperson of UAE Businesswomen Council Farida al Awadhi, Consul General of Lebanon to
Dubai H.E Assaf Doumit, Secretary General of Union of Arab Chambers Dr. Khaled Hanafi, and
President of the Federation of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, and Agriculture in Lebanon
H.E Mohamad Choucair.
The first panel will focus on Retail and e-Commerce. It will be moderated by TV Host Wissam
Breidy who will address women’s success, challenges, and opportunities in this sector with Dr.
Fadia Kiwan, Director General of the Arab Women Organization. Fahad Ghanim, Chief
Executive Officer of Majid Al Futtaim – Lifestyle, Chairperson of Bankmed and former Minister
of Interior in Lebanon H.E Raya El-Hassan, Raslan who is also the Founder and Chairwoman of
Jazzmin, and Dr. Hashim Hussein, Head of the UNIDO Investment and Technology Promotion
Office in Bahrain, will be joining the panel as speakers.
It will be followed by a specialized session titled “The Brand Called You” by Dr. Sami
Abdulaziz, a well-known marketing expert who launched several media campaigns that received
national acclamation in Egypt. Humanagement Cofounder and public relations expert Sally
Hajjar will also make an intervention.
The second session titled “Hospitality and Tourism” will be moderated by Media Consultant
Rose Hindy who will be hosting Lebanon’s Minister of Tourism H.E Walid Nassar, Celebrity
Chef Leyla Fathallah, Partner at Chateau Rweiss Maria Abi Nasr, Cristel Taoutel, Founder of
Kiki’s Sweets, Elie Aoun, CEO of Ipsos MENA, and Dr. Jihan Saleh, Economic Advisor to
Egypt’s Prime Minister.
The final workshop will be conducted by Author and Leadership Consultant Michael Kouly who
will be speaking about “leading strategically - mobilizing people, organizations and
communities.”
