Maxime Chaya and his teammates, Livar Nysted and Stuart Kershaw, set off from Geraldton (West Australia) on Sunday June 9th at 9:00 am aboard their row boat tRIO have reached their final destination in the Mauritius Island on Monday August 5th. The world record, set in 2009 by Aud Eamus (8 person row boat), with a time of 58 days, 15 hours and 8 minutes, on August 5th 2013, by tRIO (3 person row boat) with a time of 57 days, 14 hours, and 49 minutes. In addition to that, Maxime Chaya and his teammates are the 1st, as a team of 3, to cross the Indian Ocean. Congratulations to Lebanon, as a new Guiness World record is set.
