The Italian Trade Agency in Beirut organizes under the auspices of the Embassy of Italy and in collaboration with the Fiera di Ferrara and Assorestauro Italian Association for Architecture, Art and Urban Restoration, the presentation of the "International Exhibition of Restoration 2022" 27th edition to be held in Ferrara from 8 to 10 June 2022.
An event that is increasingly the point of reference for the entire sector, which continues its journey in Ferrara during the well-known spring period. Exhibitors, conferences, exhibitions and events are foreseen for three intense and concrete days.
In parallel with the Exhibition, the traditional RESTORATION WEEK will take place as it has been for several editions. It is an extraordinary event born from the desire to place alongside the classic fashion, food and supplies, this sector as a form of excellence of tradition, expertise and Italian technology at the service of the needs expressed by different foreign countries increasingly oriented to the enhancement and recovery of their historical heritage. Through a spectacular traveling tour, international delegates from all over the world (in presence and virtually through live streaming) will visit the main restoration sites of the Bel Paese, stopping in Ferrara during the days of the Exhibition to allow the exploration and the best knowledge of the Italian restoration through the development of b2b with the exhibiting companies.
The Salone del Restauro aims to encourage the development of synergies between Italian and Lebanese companies in the restoration sector through the promotion of know-how, new products, processes and advanced technologies.
Today's event is therefore part of an expansion and deepening of synergies in a field in which cooperation between the two countries is particularly intense, both between institutional and private partners.
As, for example, in the case of the significant contribution of the Lebanese company Rockland, which offered to finance the restoration of the Ardea Purpurea fountain created by the Italian artist Marco Bravura in the Verdun district.
The project includes, through Assorestauro and other Italian partners a training course in favor of Lebanese professionals (architects, restorers) as a framework of sharing and comparison between the parties on restoration methodologies.
